Buy a Business in Bangladesh
Buy a running website, startup, shop or restaurant with the payment held in escrow. Browse listings priced in BDT, check the numbers the seller has shared, pay through SSLCommerz or a SwapStartup wallet, and take over after you confirm the handover on SwapStartup.
How buying works
- Browse listings. The marketplace lists online businesses (websites, SaaS, apps, e-commerce stores, Facebook-page businesses) and physical businesses (shops, restaurants, clinics, factories). Every listing is reviewed before it goes live.
- Check the numbers. Create a free account to see detailed monthly financials and to message the seller. Keep the conversation on the platform so there is a record.
- Pay into escrow. You pay through SSLCommerz or a SwapStartup wallet. The money stays in escrow until you confirm the handover, or until SwapStartup reviews the evidence. Do not send the price to a personal bKash or bank account outside the deal.
- Take over after a recorded handover. When you confirm the handover on SwapStartup, that confirmation is the record that the business was handed over, and the escrow payment can be released to the seller. The seller withdraws to a bank account, bKash, Nagad or PayPal. A payout fee applies when the seller withdraws after a completed sale, and the rate is shown before that payout is confirmed.
Why escrow
A business sale fails when the buyer pays a stranger first, or the seller hands over the accounts before the money is real. Escrow means the payment is held until the handover is confirmed. Listings are reviewed before they are published. Prices are in Taka.
What you can buy
- Online businesses: websites, SaaS, apps, e-commerce stores, domains and Facebook-page businesses.
- Physical businesses: shops, restaurants, clinics, factories and other offline businesses.
- Startups: businesses listed for sale. A listing set to "Need investment" is raising money, not offering the whole business for sale.
