Sell Your Business in Bangladesh
List a website, startup, shop or restaurant on SwapStartup. Creating an account, listing a business and using the valuation tool are free. The buyer pays into escrow. After the handover is confirmed, you withdraw to a bank account, bKash, Nagad or PayPal. A payout fee applies only when you withdraw after a completed sale, and the rate is shown before you confirm.
How selling works
- Get a free valuation. The valuation tool gives a range in BDT in about two minutes. No login is required.
- Create a free account and list the business. Sign up, describe the business, set an asking price in BDT and say what is included. Every listing is reviewed by the SwapStartup team before it goes live.
- Answer buyers on the platform. Keep questions and offers on SwapStartup so there is a record. Detailed monthly financials are visible to signed-in members.
- The buyer pays into escrow. Payment is through SSLCommerz or a SwapStartup wallet. The money stays in escrow until the buyer confirms the handover.
- Hand over, then withdraw. When the buyer confirms, withdraw to a bank account, bKash, Nagad or PayPal. A payout fee applies on that withdrawal, and the rate is shown before you confirm.
Why escrow
Do not hand a business over against a promise to pay later, and do not take part of the price outside the platform. Escrow holds the buyer's payment until the handover is confirmed on SwapStartup, or until SwapStartup reviews the evidence. That confirmation is the record of the handover. Sellers are then paid to a bank account, bKash, Nagad or PayPal.
What you can sell
- Online businesses: websites, SaaS, apps, e-commerce stores, domains and social media or Facebook-page businesses.
- Startups: list the business for sale, or switch the listing to "Need investment" if you are raising rather than selling the whole business.
- Physical businesses: shops, restaurants, clinics, factories and other offline businesses. Prices are in Taka.
